Taiwanese artist Lo Chan-Peng’s acrylic and ink paintings of people

The men and women in Lo Chan-Peng’s acrylic and ink paintings seem to either emerge from the mist or submerge themselves into anonymity. Whichever is the case, the men and women in his works look like they’re in the middle of contemplation. Looking at them transforms us into intruders.

The pieces here are part of an ongoing exhibition titled Misty at DaGuan Gallery, Taipei.
